Reinier founded Business of Purpose in Amsterdam in March 2019. He’s also the founder of leading consumer trend firm TrendWatching, with trend-savvy teams in New York, Singapore, London, and Amsterdam. He’s convinced that the transition to a more sustainable economy is one of the biggest, soul-warming business opportunities ever.

Riz Razak – Chief Operations Officer
Riz is a Singapore-trained Environmental Scientist who oversees our strategy and daily operations. After ‘growing-up’ as a true global citizen all over the world and working in startups and as an environmental consultant, he has found his passion in empowering the purpose-driven economy in every possible way.

Sophie Caro-Tourneux – Social Media Manager
Sophie takes care of all our social media accounts, from Instagram to Telegram to WhatsApp to Twitter. She’s a French MBA graduate from Brittany who now finds Amsterdam her base. Sophie channels her love for movies, music as well as surfing to bring life to our online omnipresence, keeping our different online communities engaged.

Liesbeth den Toom – Finance Manager
Liesbeth handles all our finances. A Dutch-Canadian hybrid, Liesbeth has worked for start-ups and scale-ups, including TrendWatching and Springwise. More recently, she’s taken a hands-on interest in organic farming, studying organic agriculture and working as a vegetable grower.

Zuzanna Loch – Visual Designer
Zuzanna translates our intelligence into beautiful designs. From newsletters to websites, she’s the reason our communications look so good. Hailing from Gdynia in Poland, Zuzanna has been living in the Netherlands for 5 years where she graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

Judit Sáez - Head of Community
Judit heads our Community at Business of Purpose. Coming from a communications-strategy background, she believes a purposeful future is built by the optimists and the brave who question the status quo, who understands the interconnectedness of our ecosystem and humanity. Born and grown up in Barcelona, Judit has a strong connection to Istanbul, where she spent time working, and Berlin, her current home.

Thomas Klaffke – Head of Insights
Thomas heads Insights at Business of Purpose. After working as a Trends and Innovations consultant in Germany and South Africa, he now manages Business of Purpose’s insights part including our famous newsletter. Thomas believes that the time for business as a force for good - one that champions sustainability, well-being and equality - is now.

Terence Moore – Marketing Manager
Terence is originally from London but made Amsterdam his home seven years ago where he studied New Media and Digital Culture at University of Amsterdam. He currently heads our Marketing department. Beside his marketing role at Business of Purpose, Terence is interested in open source IoT robots and all things tech.

Angela Herdin - Community Manager
Angela is our Business of Purpose Community manager based out of Madrid. She guides our members from all around the globe to navigate our many events, projects and initiatives. Having studied Entrepreneurship, Angela launched a project bringing a community of sustainable fashion designers together, getting her first taste for big, diverse communities. Angela is passionate about impact-driven communities and finds herself at home learning about different cultures and learning from new and different people from all around the globe.

Siena Kinsale – Research Analyst
Having lived and volunteered around the world, from The Bahamas to Spain, Siena now pursues a degree in Media and Information at the University of Amsterdam. Driven by her passion to make sustainable living the normalised paradigm, she has been working in various projects to help make our world more sustainable. Siena now works with our Career and Innovations platforms at Business of Purpose.

Alicia Teo Li Xia – Business Analyst
Currently based in Tel Aviv, Alicia oversees Business of Purpose’s methodologies and insights. Her curiosity in innovation and technology has taken her to Beijing, Tel Aviv, Manila and Singapore, where she worked for leading startups. She’s currently completing her studies in Finance Analytics at Singapore Management University and Digital Culture and Communications at Tel Aviv University.

Clara Olsen - Assistant Visual Designer
Clara is our Assistant Visual Designer operating from Rotterdam. Originally from Denmark, Clara is studying Graphic Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. She is currently involved in owning and maintaining many visual design and UI/UX projects with our Head of Design Zuzanna. Clara loves to experiment, combining hands-on tools and methods, and bringing them to digital mediums.

Lucas Stoffe - Market Researcher (EU)
Born and raised in the Brussels, Lucas joined Business of Purpose as our Research Analyst for Francophone and Dutch markets. With his background in Innovation Management he is passionate about being part of the future of business: purpose-driven co-creation. Jacob Barker - Content Marketer & Researcher
Jacob, with roots in British Columbia, is part of our Content Marketing and Research team. Besides his work at Business of Purpose, he is currently busy concluding his Bachelors in Information and Communication Studies at University of Amsterdam. Jacob is passionate about changing the world for the better and contributing to sustainability related issues. When he is not studying or working, you can probably find him rowing for A.S.R Nereus, a local rowing club in Amsterdam.
